Susan Livingstone Reviews Shades of Appley Green

‘This is a beautiful story,’ says Susan Livingstone as she reviews Shades of Appley Green by Miriam Wakerly

Shades of Appley Green is about Steph Perriman and her quest to help an elderly architect with Parkinson's re-enter society, at least as much as his illness allows, while trying to do her job and raise her children.  Appley Green is a small English village where everyone knows everyone else.  That also means that everyone knows everyone else's private business, as well.

Miriam Wakerly has woven a wonderful tale of a woman struggling to find her inner peace, amid objections to her methods and a deep mistrust of men.  This is a beautiful story. I highly recommend reading this book, especially to those who love a good story.  Thank you Miriam for sending me a copy of your book.  I give it 5 stars.  Go buy it now...."
