Meet Melanie Robertson-King - Prior to turning my hand to fiction, I wrote articles and have been published in Canada, the
US and the
UK. In addition to writing, my interests include genealogy, photography and travel. On one of my trips to
Scotland, I had the honour of meeting The Princess Royal.
My first novel, A Shadow in the Past (released in print in September 2012), is under contract with 4RV Publishing - a small press located in the US. Recently, one of my short stories, Cole's Notes was published by Carrick Publishing and is included in their first cross-genre anthology.
I'm a member of Romance Writers of America and their Ottawa Chapter and make my home in
Brockville,
Ontario,
Canada along the shore of the majestic
St. Lawrence River with my husband, son and oldest grandson.
